Hi! I’m Andrea Miteva (she/her).

I’m a Macedonian-American photographer and visual artist based in Seattle, Washington.

I'm drawn to fashion, music, dance, nature, and art — and the people who live inside those worlds. I started taking photos over 15 years ago, beginning with those closest to me, often set against the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Over time, the work has taken me all over the world.

My specialty is capturing portraits with an editorial feel. I'm very intentional about lighting and editing. I primarily work with digital cameras, but I also use film photography, videography, graphic design, and sound production when a project calls for a different medium.

Photography is deeply collaborative for me — I often work with clients across major life milestones, building relationships that deepen over time. My goal is always to make you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera.

I like to say that photography is my meditation. It's an art form rooted in a deep perception of people, places, and moments as they unfold. When I'm making an image, time often feels suspended, and I'm fully present in the moment. When someone encounters my work, I hope they feel that same pause and presence.
